This album was created in order to express the liberty of people as a right than cannot be altered. In order to translate this message in my pictures I decided to make an album that expresses social life in a context of a pandemic. The pictures display a short window of time during Corona virus, between the announcement of government to shut universities and schools and the first day of closure of all public places. The city is Groningen in the Netherlands, there is no special thoughts behind this “study case”, it is just the city where I study. I think it represents well Europe and freedom as it is a student and cosmopolitan city. As you will see the pictures are mainly street photographs, I think it is the best way to translate people behaviour in a natural context. So “I hope you will enjoy this album half as much I enjoyed making it for you. Because only pictures are gonna last – all the other b***s**t is here today and gone tomorrow” (Drake, Nothing Was the Same, 2013).
